Emerging Technologies: Light-Field Photography

What inferences/assumptions can be made about the future technology? It is a big break through in the camera and photography buisness. This technology allows the camera to take higher quality images and put less time into editing photos. The camera has the ability to refocus the image after being taken. What surprised you the most? The feature that surprised me the most was the size of the camera. Another shock was how an image can go from blurry to high quality and high defintion. I also was surprised by how the chances of this technology being released in stores or online it will be popular. What are the possibilities for the future in this area? The possibilities for this technology are great. The camera will make creators lots of money, you will see better pictures, be able to take and shoot better images no matter what the circumstances. This camera has the potential to bring a lot more brighter and better looking pictures into the hands of people. Looking at the list from 2009, are there any technologies that were considered "emerging" back then that are now being used? The Intellegent Software Assistant (ISA) is now being used to do tasks and collect information. The software helps you work more efficiently. This software is basically a virtual personal assistant. Give any other comments you have to offer... I think the technologies we have now are amazing but if what we have now is things we can only dream and think of, what comes next?
